Keiki Hula Competition DVD 2007

Queen Lili'uokalani, Hawaii's last monarch loved music, song and dance - but most of all, she loved children. In her honor and name, Honolulu's Kalihi-Palama Culture and Arts Society organized the Keiki Hula Competition, showcasing the grace, excitement, and passion of the most talented young dancers from near and far. With each movement, chant and song, an important cultural and historical practice is kept alive.
